<p>I was delighted to take up an appointment of Senior Lecturer (
employment position ) working on behalf of the school of medicine
at Queen Elizabeth Hsopital. This cements my appointment and
involvement in undergraduate teaching, a position I enjoy in the
teaching of medical students.</p>

<p>2010 promises to be another exciting year, with not only the
federal AOA meeting being held here in Adelaide but also the usual
hand and upper limb conferences in Canberra and Sydney
respectively. I believe that maintaining your knowledge through
research and meeting essential to any surgical practice and look
forward to attending all of the above.</p>

<p>It was a pleasure to participate as an examiner in the 5th year
exams on Thursday.</p>

<p>The whole year was very impressive in their knowledge and keen
to impress. I am pleased with how they have progressed over their
training and look forward to seeing them working as young
doctors.</p>

<p>It was an honour to receive in the mail today, a letter stating
that I had once again been nominated by the medical students at the
QEH for the award of outstanding clinical Teacher.</p>

<p>I find it both enjoyable and rewarding to be involved in
teaching the students and am thrilled to see the quality of this
years 4th students. I believe any profession should pass on to the
future generations, knowledge and the enjoyment of&nbsp; their
chosen specialty.</p>
